About Jason

Jason Sweeney practices in estates, wills, trusts, powers of attorney and personal directives, advising clients on estate planning documents as well as executors and trustees on estate and trust administration. He has developed an interest in charitable giving and the role philanthropy can play in estate planning, and has presented seminars for community and industry associations. Jason is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Wills and Estates Section and the Calgary Bar Association. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, he was educated at the University of Saskatchewan, was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 1997 and the Alberta bar in 2006, and practiced with a mid-sized firm and a national trust company before returning to private practice.
