About Adam
Adam Hirsh focuses his practice on complex commercial and corporate disputes involving major Canadian and international companies. His work covers a broad spectrum, including private commercial disputes and arbitration, defending against class actions in areas such as competition, consumer protection, and product liability, as well as tax disputes and insolvency matters. Adam served as lead counsel for Nieuport Aviation, owner of the Billy Bishop Airport terminal, in a significant commercial dispute tied to the COVID-19 pandemic, and represented Maple Leaf Foods in successfully opposing certification of a proposed class action. He has also acted for a major cannabis producer in commercial arbitration proceedings. Adam has been recognized as a litigation rising star, appearing on Benchmark Litigation's under-40 list and in the 2022 edition of Best Lawyers Canada for commercial and corporate litigation. He co-authored the chapter on Canadian commercial and corporate litigation in the fifth edition of a leading treatise on business litigation in the federal courts.
