About Patrick
Patrick Cassidy is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Halifax office, having joined the firm through a 2018 merger as the former Managing Partner of Cassidy Nearing Berryman. He has built his career in condominium law, acting for the majority of condominium corporations in Nova Scotia as well as developers of condominium and fractional projects across Atlantic Canada, and was made a Fellow of the Canadian Condominium Institute in 1998. Pat is a frequent writer and lecturer on condominium law at institutions across Canada and the United States, including his alma mater, Dalhousie Law School, and has served as past chair of both CCI National and the CCI Nova Scotia Chapter. He earned his B.Comm from Saint Mary's University in 1978 and his LLB from Dalhousie Law School in 1981, was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1982, and was appointed King's Counsel in 2002.
