About Clarence

Clarence's practice focuses on management-side labour, employment, and human rights law, along with workplace investigations and mediation, serving employers across the public and private sectors. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada on standard of review and constructive dismissal cases, represented the New Brunswick Provincial Court Judges Association at Judicial Remuneration Commissions, and defended employers in wrongful dismissal, union certification, and human rights matters. He was appointed King's Counsel in 2022 and previously served as managing partner of the firm's Fredericton and Saint John offices. Clarence holds an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School (2008) and an LLB from the University of New Brunswick (2004), and was called to the bar in New Brunswick in 2005 and Ontario in 2022.
