About Nicole
Nicole Demirov's practice at SZK focuses on civil and commercial litigation, with particular attention to bankruptcy and insolvency, contractual disputes, and debtor-creditor relationships. Before joining the firm she articled at a tax law firm, assisting clients with tax disputes and developing skills in drafting and researching complex legal issues. Nicole earned a joint JD/MBA from Queen's University Faculty of Law and the Smith School of Business, and her interest in litigation grew through participating in the Donald G.H. Bowman Tax Moot. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2025 and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Toronto in Peace, Conflict and Justice Studies.
