About Karey

Karey Anne Dhirani is a partner at Teplitsky LLP with a broad commercial litigation practice that centers on complex construction disputes. She has deep experience with lien and trust remedies under the Construction Lien Act and regularly acts for developers, builders, contractors and homeowners. Her work also extends to land development, real estate, commercial leasing, insurance, bankruptcy and insolvency, employment litigation and neighbour disputes. Karey has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and several administrative tribunals, and she also resolves matters through alternative dispute resolution when possible. She frequently serves as an articling principal at the firm. Karey earned her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1999 and returned there for an LLM in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution in 2008, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2001.
