About Neel

Neel's practice centers on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities work, and broader corporate and commercial law matters. He first came aboard as a 2022 summer student and later returned to article with the firm through 2023 and 2024. He belongs to ACG Toronto's NexGen Young Professionals Program, a group for rising leaders in Canada's mid-market M&A community. In addition, Neel spent time as a supervising lawyer for the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic, helping early-stage ventures with financing and equity-structuring work. Neel earned his law degree at the University of Ottawa, where his coursework leaned toward business law with particular focus on corporate finance. He also belonged to the Ottawa Tax Law Society during his studies and completed a directed research project on residential real estate and federal legislative policy. Before attending law school, he completed an undergraduate degree focused on finance at McGill University. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, playing sports and watching films by Scorsese.
