About Janny

Janny Cho is of counsel at BAX Securities Law, advising clients on corporate finance, securities, and corporate commercial matters. She works with clients across a range of industries at all stages of growth, assisting with capital raising, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and associated securities regulatory requirements, and represents issuers and investors in private offerings while advising on disclosure and corporate governance. Her legal career includes time at one of Canada's largest national law firms as well as a smaller boutique firm. Janny is fluent in Cantonese and has worked in Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2002 and holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the University of Toronto.
