About Aarij

Aarij is a Toronto-based partner in Gowling WLG's Corporate Commercial, Funds and Private M&A group and member of its Sports and Entertainment Group. In his sports and entertainment practice, he assists clients with bidding for and planning major sporting events, negotiating sponsorship arrangements and navigating associative marketing campaigns, and is a recognized voice in the Canadian legal market on mega-event hosting. He also maintains an active cross-border business law practice focused on corporate and commercial transactions and private M&A with particular strength in Middle East markets. Qualified in Canada (Ontario and Alberta), England and Wales and Pakistan, Aarij serves on the International Committee of the Sports Lawyers Association.
