Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionNatalia focuses on Aboriginal law and litigation, assisting First Nations with significant Aboriginal rights and title claims, child welfare matters, legislation drafting, treaty implementation and specific claims. She has appeared before the courts in British Columbia, the Federal Courts, and administrative tribunals such as the National Energy Board. She was counsel for grandparents in a case establishing a child's right to access their Indigenous culture from the earliest stages of life, and assisted on the first case in Canada to find Aboriginal fishing rights sufficient to ground a private nuisance claim. She joined the firm as an articling student in 2017. She earned her J.D. from the University of Victoria in 2017 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2018.
