With close to 15 years of experience, Natai Shelsen works as a litigator and mediator, resolving disputes involving business partnerships, professional practices, employment, families, and neighbours with an emphasis on practicality and preserving relationships. She practises in both English and French, is licensed in Ontario and Quebec, and has represented clients at all court levels in each province, up to and including the Supreme Court of Canada. A roster member of Ontario's mandatory mediation program, she holds a Q.Med designation along with certificates in mediation from Harvard Law School and from the University of Waterloo and Community Justice Initiatives, and she also draws on extensive experience in Indigenous-rights litigation and negotiation. Her broader litigation practice covers business, professional regulatory, employment, human rights, contract, and real estate disputes, and she is a member of her firm's Aboriginal Law and Indigenous Rights Group.
