About Nasyr
Nasyr Asmi is a Senior Associate employment lawyer at Whitten & Lublin, representing both employees and employers on wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, human rights complaints, health and safety matters, and workplace harassment issues, as well as drafting and reviewing employment contracts. Before joining the firm, he worked as a labour lawyer for a prominent union and later for a boutique employment law firm in Toronto. Nasyr studied law at the University of Western Ontario and was admitted to the bar in 2017. His courtroom work includes securing an additional $1.2 million in damages for a long-term employee in Tein Fat v. PRGX Canada Corp., beyond the company's original settlement offer.
