About Miranda

Miranda Grayson is a partner at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP practising in labour and administrative law, with a significant public sector labour relations practice. She frequently assists clients with professional and regulatory proceedings, judicial review applications, and statutory appeals, and has experience in human rights and constitutional law matters. Grayson has appeared before the Manitoba Court of Queen's Bench, the Manitoba Court of Appeal, and the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, and regularly appears before labour arbitrators. She clerked for Justice Russell Brown of the Supreme Court of Canada from 2016 to 2018 before returning to TDS as an associate. She earned her J.D. from the University of Manitoba in 2015, receiving the University Gold Medal in Law, and a B.A. from the University of Winnipeg in 2012, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2016. She is a supervising lawyer at the Trans ID Clinic operated by Winnipeg's Rainbow Resource Centre and Pro Bono Students Canada.
