About Michael
Michael Marcogliese joined Brazeau Seller Law in the spring of 2021 after several years running his own corporate practice at a boutique Ottawa firm. A Montreal native, he is fluent in English and French. His practice focuses on corporate, tax and estate law, including incorporations, amalgamations and dissolutions, corporate tax restructurings such as rollovers, share transfers and freezes, business asset and share acquisitions, complex commercial agreements such as shareholder and non-disclosure agreements, and drafting wills, powers of attorney and family trust agreements. He has extensive experience serving dental, medical and other professional practices. Before law school, Michael worked as a Senior Commercial Officer at a large financial institution. He graduated with honours from the University of Leeds in the UK with a Bachelor of Laws, receiving the Merit Scholarship for academic performance, and is an active member of the Meritas Emerging Leaders Group.
