About Danene
Danene Whiting joined Brazeau Seller's Real Estate Group in January 2025. She previously specialized in commercial real estate, corporate lending and land development at a boutique Ottawa firm, first as a real estate clerk and then as a practising lawyer. Danene assists clients with residential and commercial purchases, sales and leases, and represents lenders and borrowers in financing matters, frequently working with the Corporate and Commercial and Wills and Estates groups on the real estate components of larger transactions. She has broad experience in land development, particularly infill development, including as a small-scale real estate developer and investor in her own right. Before law school she attended Carleton University for a Bachelor of Political Science and Law and a Master of Arts in Law, then received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Birmingham. She is a WSET Level Three Certified Sommelier.
