About Alexander
Alexander Shaw is a partner who practises corporate and commercial law and is a member of the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions group. He joined Brazeau Seller Law in 2019 after relocating from Toronto, where he had practised at a firm affiliated with a chartered professional accounting firm advising family businesses on corporate and succession planning, and before that articled and practised at a mid-sized Toronto firm advising clients on commercial agreements and transactions. He advises clients of all sizes on corporate structuring and reorganizations, business purchase and sale transactions, complex commercial agreements including supply, distribution, technology and IP licensing agreements, and financings and secured transactions. Alexander previously served as an editor for the Law Society of Ontario, updating chapters of the lawyer licensing examination study materials. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor from Queen's University, where he received the David Sabbath Prize in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
