About Maureen

Maureen Murphy is a partner in the firm's Ottawa office and the leader of the Medical Defence General Counsel Practice Group in Canada. Her practice focuses on health law, medical defence, and privacy law, including acting as counsel to the Canadian Medical Protective Association. She has experience representing clients before the Federal Court and Superior Court of Justice and has a particular interest in information technology and privacy law issues affecting physicians. She is a co-instructor for the Osgoode Hall Law School LLM course on Information Technology and Privacy in Health Law.
