About Michael
Michael Grantmyre is a partner in Osler's Emerging and High Growth Companies group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities law in the technology sector, advising both technology companies and investors on acquisitions, divestitures, venture capital and private equity financings, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. He also supports the day-to-day corporate needs of the companies he represents. Grantmyre plays a central role in Osler's relationship with the League of Innovators, a national charity offering programs and education for young entrepreneurs. He obtained his law degree from the University of Windsor and a Master of Arts in International Affairs, focused on global political economy, from Carleton University. Before joining Osler, Grantmyre worked at an Ottawa-based business law firm focused on transactional work for technology companies.
