Business & Corporate LawMichael Gasch is a partner focusing on income and commodity tax law, corporate transactions, and estate planning and administration. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1990 and has spent more than 30 years helping clients and other professionals work through complex business and tax problems. His tax practice covers planning for business reorganizations, acquisitions, and sales, and he has extensive experience taking clients through audits, objections, appeals, and voluntary disclosures. He also prepares wills, trusts, and business succession plans, and advises executors, trustees, and beneficiaries on estate administration. Michael earned his B.Comm from McGill University in 1985 and his LL.B. from the University of Toronto in 1988. He serves as a director of Reena Foundation and has previously held roles with Robbins Hebrew Academy and its foundation.
