About Anisha

Anisha Samat is an associate whose practice covers bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring, real estate disputes, fraud, shareholder and partnership conflicts, general contract disputes, and class actions. She has notable experience helping institutional lenders with asset-based lending transactions and the enforcement of those loans. She has represented clients before all levels of court in Ontario and regularly takes part in alternative dispute resolution, including private arbitrations. Known for her attention to detail, she works on both corporate-commercial matters and courtroom advocacy. She holds a BCL/JD from McGill University, obtained in 2019, and an Honours BA from York University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2021.
