Lorne Greenspoon focuses on tax, wills, trusts, estate planning, and business arrangements, providing tax-oriented advice to high net worth individuals, multi-generational families, entrepreneurs, and estate executors, along with private businesses and firms in accounting, law, and financial services. He structures Canadian and cross-border business reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, family business succession plans, and personal estate plans. He also handles tax controversies for clients, dealing with provincial and federal revenue authorities from the audit stage through appeals and litigation. Lorne was called to the Ontario bar in 1980 after earning a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto in 1975 and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall in 1978. He belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the International Fiscal Association, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and has been recognized in Best Lawyers Canada for his work in Trusts and Estates in both 2025 and 2026. Outside the office, he has served on the board of the Baycrest Foundation and held past leadership roles with Canadian Friends of Hebrew University and the Maple Downs Golf & Country Club.
