About Melissa

Melissa Pike focuses her practice on labour and employment law, primarily representing public and private sector provincially- and federally-regulated unions, and also advises non-unionized workplaces on employment contract reviews and terminations. She has appeared before the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Labour Boards, the Nova Scotia Supreme Court, the New Brunswick Court of King's Bench, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, and in various arbitrations. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Advocates' Society. She earned her JD from Dalhousie University and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2019 and the Ontario bar in 2021.
