About Brent
Brent Marks is an associate lawyer at Nelligan Law in its Labour and Employment practice groups, advising labour unions and both unionized and non-unionized workers, including in the Federal Public Service, on labour, administrative, and human rights law. He represents employees in matters including wrongful dismissal, workplace discrimination and harassment, accommodation and disability rights, and severance package reviews. Marks also advises international civil servants and employees of international organizations, holding a certificate in the Law of International Organizations from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. Before joining Nelligan Law, he worked as in-house counsel at a Berlin tech start-up, as a legal consultant with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in South Africa, and articled with a Toronto union-side labour firm.
