Megan Thompson

About Megan

Megan represents employers on a wide range of labour and employment matters, including employment standards, human rights, employee discipline and terminations, occupational health and safety, workers' compensation, and collective bargaining and labour relations. She drafts workplace policies and employment agreements and delivers training to help employers respond to legal challenges in the workplace. Megan is certified by the Workplace Institute in workplace investigations and has conducted investigations in both the private and public sector, including allegations of discrimination and harassment. She is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and the Canadian Bar Association and serves on the Saint Francis Xavier University Alumni Association. She earned her J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2020 and a B.B.A. (Hons.) from St. Francis Xavier University in 2017, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2021.
