About Megan

Megan Smith is a partner at TDS practicing primarily in labour and employment law and human rights law. She advises both provincially and federally regulated employers and employees on employment contracts and policies, workplace complaints, accommodation requests, workplace health and safety, and terminations, and has significant experience with constructive and wrongful dismissal cases and human rights complaints. Megan represents employers in labour arbitrations and before the Manitoba Labour Board, and also represents clients in inquest proceedings. She was a summer student at TDS in 2012 and 2013, articled in 2014, joined as an associate in 2015, and became a partner in 2023. She holds a Juris Doctor (2014) and a Bachelor of Science (2011), both from the University of Manitoba, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2015.
