Megan McConnell is legal counsel at Rana Law, concentrating on governance, litigation, corporate and economic development, and environmental and regulatory matters for First Nations. McConnell's work includes advising on urban reserve development, negotiating business agreements such as gas stations, franchises, and leases, environmental assessment and regulatory processes, drafting governance documents including membership and election codes and financial administration laws, and representing Indigenous groups in litigation before provincial and federal courts. McConnell holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Lethbridge (2007) and a J.D. from the University of British Columbia (2012), and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Indigenous Bar Association, volunteering with the YWCA's Aboriginal Mentorship Program. McConnell is a member of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nation, Wolf Clan.
