Adrienne Cooper is legal counsel at Rana Law, practising child protection and family law, Indigenous law and First Nations jurisdiction, human rights law, administrative and regulatory advocacy including mental health review proceedings, Specific Claims settlements, and First Nations economic development and Addition to Reserve processes. Cooper holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa (2020) and completed an international exchange at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands (2019). Cooper grew up in Treaty 1 territory in Winnipeg and, before joining Rana Law, managed legal services for the First Nations Family Advocate Office of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, handling litigation, administrative proceedings, and Supreme Court interventions, and assisted in developing the Bringing Our Children Home Act. Cooper is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of British Columbia, with non-practising status in Manitoba.
