Kassie Seaby is legal counsel at Rana Law, focusing on Aboriginal and corporate law, particularly Specific Claims negotiations, settlements, and agreement implementation, and economic development. Seaby's work includes advocacy for First Nations on Indigenous rights, treaty matters, and land and resource management, alongside corporate entity formation, registration, compliance, and dissolution. Seaby holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from Carleton University (2011) and a J.D. from the University of Ottawa (2015), is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association, and co-chairs the CBA's Aboriginal Law Vancouver Section Executive. Before joining Rana Law, Seaby practised litigation at a boutique firm, including work responding to an oil spill affecting a coastal First Nation, and grew up in Kitimat, BC.
