About Megan Kish

Megan Kish is an associate at GGFI Law LLP whose work centres on civil litigation and real estate. Clients bring their legal problems to a lawyer who draws on more than one discipline to help them find a way through, and who grew up in Waterloo Region and cares about giving back to the community here.

GGFI isn't new to Megan. In the years before the associate title, Megan worked at the firm as a summer student and then articled there, and in July 2025 the team welcomed Megan back as an associate lawyer. That return followed a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, which came after undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo combining Knowledge Integration with Peace and Conflict Studies.

Helping people with housing problems was part of Megan's legal training. During law school, a placement with Community Legal Services of Ottawa had Megan supporting the city's Tenant Duty Counsel as they advised low-income tenants. Away from work, Megan is usually with friends and family (Bijou the cat included), absorbed in a good book, or out discovering local spots.
