About Jason Timms

Jason Timms has handled civil litigation of every kind at GGFI Law LLP since 2024, along with residential and commercial real estate. Jason knows that no two clients need quite the same thing and aims to pair sound advice with service that's kind and efficient.

Jason was called to the bar in 2022 and started out at a general practice firm in Brantford. The files there ran across civil litigation, real estate, family law and commercial law, and that mix gave Jason a broad footing for shaping practical solutions around each client's circumstances.

The road into law was an international one. After a political science degree at Western, Jason earned an LL.B. at the University of Leicester, then came home to Canada for an LL.M. at Osgoode Hall Law School. Today Jason serves as a director of the Brant Law Association and belongs to the Waterloo Region Law Association.

As a Leicester law student, Jason was head coach of the men's basketball team, and coaching remains an interest. Free time goes to watching basketball and football, fantasy sports, golf in the summer months and time spent with friends and family.
