About Meaghan
Meaghan McDermid is a partner at Davies Howe LLP practising land use planning, land development, and municipal law. She was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2011 and helps clients with applications and appeals for residential, commercial, and industrial development projects, ranging from complex urban boundary disputes to residential additions. Her work includes official plan and zoning by-law amendments, subdivision and site plans, consents, and minor variances, and she regularly appears before the Ontario Land Tribunal, the Toronto Local Appeal Body, the Divisional Court, and various municipal councils and committees of adjustment. Before joining the firm, she articled with the former Environmental Review Tribunal. Meaghan holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto (2010) and an Honours Bachelor of Science from Queen's University (2006), and belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, the Urban Land Institute, and BILD.
