About Ethan

Ethan Poskanzer has worked as a research lawyer at the firm for four decades, starting when it was a small labour law practice. He collaborates with the firm's litigators, helping craft legal arguments and shape litigation strategies on complex cases. His work has contributed to expanding and defending the right to freedom of association and other Charter rights for the firm's clients. Over the years he has mentored the firm's growing research team and remains a resource for novel legal questions. Ethan also advises clients on collective agreement negotiations, government relations, and legislative and policy matters. His practice touches administrative law, appeals and judicial review, constitutional law, and labour law.
