About Matthew

Matthew Estabrooks is a partner in the firm's Ottawa office and the National Co-Lead of the Administrative Law Practice Group. He practises in copyright law, administrative law, and appellate advocacy. He provides legal opinions on issues relating to the Canadian Copyright Act and drafts copyright assignment and licensing agreements. He regularly represents clients in judicial review proceedings before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, and Ontario Divisional Court, and has extensive experience with railway regulatory matters before the Canadian Transportation Agency. He is the editor of Supreme Court of Canada Practice and Gowling WLG's Supreme Court of Canada Bulletin.
