About Matthew
Matt Owen-King practises expropriation law and related claims litigation throughout Ontario. He has worked on infrastructure projects including hydro corridors, road widening, transit lines, and major highway projects such as Highways 7, 400, 401, and 407 East, appearing before the courts and before tribunals like the Ontario Land Tribunal. A past president of the Ontario Expropriation Association, he served on its board for several years and belongs to the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, the Advocates' Society, the International Municipal Lawyers Association, and the International Right of Way Association. Matt frequently speaks on expropriation law topics for the Law Society of Ontario and industry groups. He earned his LLB from Dalhousie University and was called to the bar in 2006.
