About Junkang

Junkang Yang is an associate at Hum Law Firm, where he focuses on employment law for both employers and employees. He holds a Master of Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, completed in 2019, and a Bachelor of Law awarded by China University of Political Science and Law in 2011, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2023. In addition to his employment law work, he helps design workplace investigation plans, interviews complainants and witnesses, and drafts findings letters under senior supervision. Before moving to Canada, he practiced litigation and real estate law in China, representing hotel owners in negotiations with management companies. While at Osgoode he volunteered with Pro Bono Ontario, appearing at Toronto Small Claims Court to assist self-represented litigants. He's fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
