About Guillaume
Guillaume Lavictoire advises municipalities on infrastructure projects that involve acquiring or expropriating privately owned land, and he also represents landowners of all sizes who are facing expropriation across the province. He has extensive experience appearing before the Board of Negotiation and the Ontario Land Tribunal. He is a Past President of the Ontario Expropriation Association and sits on its board of directors. He also previously served as president and as a director of the International Right of Way Association's Chapter 29, where he teaches expropriation and real estate law principles as a certified instructor. He completed the Harvard Negotiation Institute's intensive program at Harvard Law School. He was called to the bar in 2009 and holds an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa, along with a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science from the University of Toronto; he spent part of his undergraduate studies at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Grenoble, France. He is fluently bilingual in French and English and serves clients in both languages.
