About James
James Macfarlane represents both expropriated owners and public authorities across Ontario. He was called to the bar in 2023 after earning his Juris Doctor from Queen's University, where he chaired the Environmental Law Club. Before pursuing law, James received a B.A. focused on Urban Geography and an M.Sc. in Water Resources Management, both from McGill University. Outside the office, he enjoys fitness, travel, cooking, sports, and film.
