About Doron
Doron Lurie represents both expropriating authorities and expropriated landowners across Ontario. He earned two law degrees from McGill University's Faculty of Law, where he received the Chief Justice R.A.E. Greenshields Memorial Scholarship and the F.R. Scott Prize in Constitutional Law, and served as a Senior Editor of the McGill Law Journal. He spent a summer with the Enforcement Branch of the Alberta Securities Commission working on capital markets fraud prosecutions. Before joining private practice, Doron articled with the Solicitors Group of the Regional Municipality of Durham, giving him an in-house view of a large expropriating authority. He was called to the bar in 2019 and belongs to the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations and the Ontario Expropriation Association.
