About Irene

Irene Wong is a partner whose practice focuses on expropriation law, acting for both landowners and expropriating public authorities and assisting municipalities with land acquisition programs. She received her Juris Doctor from Queen's University and, before joining the firm, worked as an associate at a Toronto litigation boutique. While at Queen's, she volunteered with the Community Advocacy & Legal Centre in Belleville, served as a student caseworker at the Queen's Business Law Clinic and Queen's Legal Aid, and was a Senior Editor of the Queen's Law Journal. Irene also holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from Queen's Smith School of Business and was called to the bar in 2019.
