About Markus

Markus Rotterdam is Glaholt Bowles LLP's Director of Research, where he works out legal arguments and solutions for the firm's lawyers on difficult files and oversees the research behind the firm's publications. He has co-authored several books on construction law and alternative dispute resolution alongside Duncan Glaholt, and provided the core research and editing for Duncan's other titles, including a leading text on construction and mechanics' liens in Canada and works on lien actions and trust actions. He has also written numerous articles and given many presentations on these subjects. Markus holds an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School, a law degree from Ruhr-Universität in Bochum, Germany, and a certificate from the Hague Academy of International Law.
