About Marisa

Marisa Pollock has represented workers across a wide range of sectors since articling at the Ontario Labour Relations Board in 1990. She acts for both small and large unions in every aspect of their activities, including organizing campaigns and negotiating collective agreements for bargaining units ranging from tens of employees to tens of thousands. In grievance arbitration, she works to uncover the facts underlying a dispute and is willing to challenge established practice. Marisa also advises unions on internal affairs, duty of fair representation defences, human rights issues, and negotiation strategy, and Best Lawyers in Canada, a peer-reviewed guide, has named her among recognized labour law practitioners.
