About Louis
Louis Century is a partner at Goldblatt Partners LLP with a litigation practice built around workers' rights and government accountability. He represents employees who have lost their jobs or faced workplace discrimination, and acts for large groups of employees pursuing unpaid overtime and other compensation through class actions. Louis's practice also includes Charter claims, judicial reviews and appeals, professional regulation matters, defamation claims, and injunctions, and he is on LawPRO's Preferred Counsel List. He began his career as a law clerk to Justice Richard Wagner at the Supreme Court of Canada and later returned to argue before the Court on behalf of the Canadian Labour Congress in a case concerning the rights of non-unionized federal employees. Louis has taught Foundations of Canadian Law at the University of Toronto and was part of the counsel team that secured a $153-million settlement for bank employees in an unpaid overtime class action, the largest of its kind in Canadian history.
