About Lee

Lee Klippenstein practises labour, employment, administrative and human rights law. He received his JD with Distinction from the University of Alberta, clerked at the Court of King's Bench, and finished his articles in the litigation, labour and employment department of a regional, full-service Edmonton firm before joining Chivers Carpenter as an associate in 2025. During law school, Lee received the 2020 Merv Leitch Q.C. Prize in Constitutional Law and a 2021 PBSC Chief Justice Richard Wagner award, volunteered with the Centre for Public Legal Education's Law Now magazine and the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, and served as a researcher with the Centre for Constitutional Studies and a board member of the Alberta Law Review.
