About Drew

Drew Blaikie practises labour, employment, professional discipline and human rights law, and began his career in criminal law, appearing before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Court of Queen's Bench and the Provincial Court of Alberta. He has conducted numerous arbitration hearings and appeared before the Alberta Labour Relations Board, the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal, the Law Enforcement Review Board and professional disciplinary tribunals. Drew articled with Dawson Stevens Duckett & Shaigec, was hired as an associate in 2015, joined Chivers Carpenter in 2017, and became a partner in 2022. He was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2015 and the Northwest Territories bar in 2025.
