About Celeste

Celeste Kwok joined Chivers Carpenter as an associate in 2025, practising labour, employment and human rights law after earning her JD from the University of Alberta in 2024. During law school she advocated for youth with the Youth Restorative Action Project, volunteered with Student Legal Services' Human Rights Project, and competed in the National Client Consultation Competition, along with a semester abroad researching for the South Australian Law Reform Institute. Celeste articled and practised with a full-service boutique Edmonton firm before joining Chivers Carpenter, and has published resources on labour and employment law through the Legal Education Society of Alberta.
