About Lawrence

Lawrence (Larry) Kelly founded Kelly Santini LLP straight out of law school and led the firm as it grew into one of the largest independent firms in Ottawa, serving local, national, and international business owners, not-for-profits, insurers, and individuals. Over his more than forty-year career he advised clients across eastern Ontario and beyond on corporate, real estate, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and sports law, and represented professional athletes including some of the biggest names in hockey. He served on numerous corporate, institutional, and charity boards, including seven years on the board of Infrastructure Ontario, two terms on the board of governors of St. Francis Xavier University, and a term on the board of The Ottawa Hospital. He led major fundraising campaigns for the Ottawa Eye Institute, St. Francis Xavier University, and St. Patrick's Home, and received the County of Carleton Law Association's Gordon F. Henderson Award. Larry has since retired from the practice of law.
