About Cynthia

Cynthia Mason is a Canadian lawyer and Trademark Agent, and the founder of Mason PC, a boutique trademark law firm in Kanata, Ontario. She started her career in the intellectual property group of a major national law firm in 2001, and in 2014 she launched Mason PC to give clients more personalized, direct access to trademark expertise. Her practice covers trademark availability searches, registrations, monitoring, and enforcement, and she has represented clients ranging from startups to a major Canadian passenger airline, a children's label maker, a professional race car driver, and a large food manufacturer. She also created Markably, an online do-it-yourself trademark registration platform aimed at entrepreneurs and startups.
