About Andrew

Andrew Godfrey, a partner in the firm's Business Law group, practices mergers and acquisitions, banking and corporate finance transactions, and work with health professionals. After joining Kelly Santini from a global firm in 2015, he built a practice advising Ottawa's private sector and Ontario healthcare professionals, including incorporating Medicine Professional Corporations, advising clinics on cost-sharing arrangements and governance, and acting on the purchase and sale of dental clinics and pharmacies. He also acts for several Academic Health Science Centres on structures and governance documents tied to Alternate Funding Plan funding from Ontario's Ministry of Health. He advises private-sector companies on commercial needs and corporate transactions including financing, acquisitions, and exits, and acts for banks and borrowers on lending transactions across Canada and internationally. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2008 and to the PEI and Nova Scotia bars in 2006. He earned his LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island.
