Andre Munroe is a bilingual partner in the Business Group specializing in corporate law, real estate, and estate planning, working closely with clients to develop tailored legal strategies. His practice covers asset and share transactions, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, commercial financing, leasing, and contractual matters, along with estate planning for entrepreneurial clients, across sectors including real estate development, retail, franchising, professional services, and medical corporations. He also advises on residential real estate, wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, and has experience with condominium developers on residential condominium transactions. His recent work includes representing vendors in a $4.5 million sale of a pharmacy and associated property, advising an independent insurance broker on a corporate restructuring and partial acquisition by a major insurance provider, and representing a real estate investment company in a $33 million refinancing of a 260-unit apartment complex. He was called to the bar in 2007, earning his LL.B., M.A. (Hons.), and B.Sc. (Hons.) from the University of Ottawa.
