About Laura

Laura Robinson was called to the Manitoba bar in 2010 and practises primarily in criminal law, appearing at all levels of court in Manitoba, including before the Supreme Court of Canada. She began her career at the former firm of Gindin, Wolson, Simmonds, Roitenberg, first as a law student in 2008, and has since worked on violent crime, property offences, weapons and drug offences, and driving-related charges, along with Child Abuse Registry cases, extradition matters, and Criminal Code Mental Health Review Board matters. She has defended clients in judge and jury trials, argued Charter issues, and handled sentencing and appeals. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba (2009) and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Political Science from the University of Winnipeg (2006), and has coached law students for the Solomon/Greenberg Moot Competition.
